Privacy Policy

Short version: this site collects as little as it can, sells nothing, and shares nothing except where the law requires it.

What is collected

  • Analytics. Google Analytics 4 records page views, rough location, device and referrer. It is used to see which pages are useful. It is not used to identify individual visitors.
  • Appointment requests. When you request an appointment, what you type in the form is stored so the appointment can be arranged and so there is a record of the fee quoted and agreed.
  • Server logs. Standard request logs, kept briefly for security and debugging.

What is not collected

No accounts, no advertising trackers, no selling or renting of anyone's details to anyone. Documents are not uploaded to this site, and no contents of a document you sign are stored here.

The notary journal is separate

California law requires a notary public to keep a sequential journal of every notarial act, and sets its own rules for what it contains, how it is secured, and who may inspect it. That journal is a legal record kept outside this website and is not governed by this policy.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies. If you would rather it did not, most browsers can block them, and this site works normally without them.

Your data

To ask what is held about you, or to have an appointment request deleted, get in touch. Records connected to a notarial act may need to be retained where the law requires it.
