Mobile notary in Vallejo
Vallejo is where most of the work happens and where the notary lives, so a same-day hospital or care-facility signing is realistic here in a way it is not further out. Most Vallejo signings are at a hospital bedside, the rest in skilled nursing and at home.
What to know about signings in Vallejo
-
Kaiser Permanente Vallejo Medical Center keeps a mobile notary sheet for families who need a document signed at the bedside. Zen Notary is on it, and it is where most hospital signings on this site's record come from.
-
Vallejo has two hospitals, Kaiser Vallejo on Sereno Drive and Sutter Solano Medical Center on Hospital Drive. Both allow a visiting notary; both need the signer awake, oriented and able to say what they are signing.
-
Vallejo is in Solano County. A deed signed here is recorded with the Solano County Recorder in Fairfield, not in Vallejo — the notarization is done at the bedside, the recording is a separate trip.

How an appointment works
- 1
You call or send a request. We go over which document you have, what identification the signer holds, who needs to be present, and whether the signer can acknowledge the signing themselves.
- 2
The fee is quoted for the whole visit and agreed before anyone travels. Nothing is booked and nobody travels until that fee is agreed.
- 3
At the signing, identification, the certificate wording, the witness requirement and the signature blocks are checked against the current statute before I leave, and a scan is sent the same day.
